Offerings
Align & Shine
Start your day off right! Using the breath as your guide, you’ll learn to relax your body, soothe your mind, and invigorate your spirit. Classes range from gentler to more challenging, with an emphasis on honoring your experience and modifying as needed. Each class includes pranayama (breathwork). Register here.
Pranayama – yogic breathing
Learn the ancient practice of pranayama. Developed to heal the mind and body, you’ll gradually expand the body and breath and build towards more advanced practices. Expect to feel calmer, more clear-headed, focused, and happy.
Meditation
Discover practical ways to focus, relax, and center. You’ll learn techniques to quiet the mind and bring more peace into your life. This isn’t just “sit and don’t think”; we’ll go step-by-step through ancient practices that help you gain more focus, calm and inner silence.
I also offer Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) and specialized workshops.
Yoga – FAQs
What should I wear to class?
Layers! Come prepared to be both warm and cool, even in a gentle class. I prefer tight clothes to better see alignment, but please wear what makes you comfortable.
Should I do Yoga if I have an injury or I am pregnant?
Yes! This is when Yoga may help the most. Please let me know before class and we can identify appropriate modifications.
If you are injured, recovering, or working with a limitation, I recommend 1-3 private sessions before joining a regular class to ensure your specific needs are addressed and your practice is both safe and comfortable.
What type of Yoga do you teach?
In general, Hatha Yoga. Specifically, I teach an inspired blend of all those who have shaped my Yoga journey, including the mindful, embodied practice of Donna Farhi, the alignment principles of Iyengar Yoga, the strength and stamina of vinyasa, and the energetic awareness and ancient techniques of Ashram Yoga. Together they culminate into a practice that aims to help you move with ease, awareness, and confidence.
