One thing I love most is how simple and quick the prompts are, yet how they evoke deep consideration and inspire change. I love the idea of journaling but rarely do it, and it's ok with this book. The journal prompts are such that even asking myself them in the morning and evening allowed me to really tune in to moments of joy. In addition to bigger moments of bliss, even daily routine things such as my morning coffee and brushing my teeth became little moments of joy to cherish each day. I highly recommend Everyday Joy!

I bought this book not long after leaving a narcissistic relationship and was starting the process of healing and finding myself again. Alexis is honest and open, which I loved, and the process is very easy to follow. It really works. I still use this process to this day, nearly everyday (when I remember) and I have journaled over 350 joy entries. It's not always easy, some days are hard, but it really helped me find joy in my life again, which led to opening up to new possibilities in my life. Highly recommend the book and Alexis's teachings.
